Bring the whole family downtown join in the fun. The weekend kicks off with the St. Patty’s Sports Expo on Friday, March 14th at the Pikes Peak Center at 190 S. Cascade Avenue. Runners and Cyclists will pick up their packets and get to see over 25 Exhibitors. Free and open to the Public! Saturday Morning starts off at 8:30 am with the 50K Bike Ride, followed by the 5K Run at 10 am; the Leprechaun Fun Run at 11:00 am; and the Parade kicks off at Noon!

Over 100 parade entries, including bands, floats, flags, leprechauns, cars, firetrucks and more, highlight one of the grandest traditions in Colorado Springs, and one of the biggest events in our City! Over 30,000 cheering revelers—young and old—will line the streets as the parade winds through the heart of Downtown to the sounds of bagpipes!

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade is on July 9

The 73rd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade is July 9, 2013, in downtown Colorado Springs (on Tejon, from St. Vrain to Vermijo), featuring Grand Marshall General William L. Shelton, USAF, and Honorary Grand Marshall Bob Norris. Free to watch and fun for the whole family, this beloved Western cultural event kicks off the annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in grand fashion. Money raised by parade entries and parade program goes directly toward assisting our local military and their families.

Colorado Springs Festival of Lights Parade

The Colorado Springs Festival Lights of Parade will take place on December 1, 2012 in Downtown Colorado Springs.  The parade will start at the corner of Tejon and St. Vrain Street and continue on Tejon to Vermijo Ave.  Dress warm and dress in layers as temperatures get cold.  Many of the streets get blocked off starting at 4:00 so come early to find parking.  Do not park on Tejon Street.  All cars will be removed before the parade starts.  The parade is colorful, lots of music from local school bands and floats lit up for the holiday season.  A fun event for the whole family.

Cool Science Festival in Colorado Springs

This years Cool Science Festival will begin with the Cool Science Carnival Day at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with events running through October 23rd. The Cool Science Festival will have science related events throughout Colorado Springs for all ages. The Cool Science Carnival Day has science activities from age four and up. The Science Show is a blast and the whole family will be amazed by the tricks.
Most Events to the Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival are Free , but tickets are required. Some of the events are the Cool Science Carnival Day at UCCS, Star Gazing Party, Electric Powered Airplane Models and more.

Cool Science Festival events will take place over several days from Saturday, October 15th thru Sunday, October 23, 2011.
